Botanical Typography

During October 2019 I challenged myself to illustrate a series of 31 typographic letters and characters inspired by botanical art and playing with negative space. Each illustration would be based on a plant that matched the character, completing 1 each day. Like many of my projects, I found the fast turnaround pushed me to trust my instincts as I drew, and deepened my understanding and love of plants. Afterwards, I had the illustrations made into a colouring book and some naughty and nice mugs using the type.
